Adam Bowes, Solicitor, Family Law Department

 

Adam undertook his training and studies at BPP Law School in Holborn before undertaking his Training Contract at an established firm in Brentwood, Essex prior to joining PCM Solicitors in November 2017 as a family solicitor.

Adam has previously worked for the Gala Coral Group as well as undertaking pro-bono work at the East End Citizens Advice Bureau, facilitating weekly outreach sessions on behalf of clients.

Adam holds experience in a wide array of family law matters including Section 8 Children Applications, intervention and ensuring contact between broken down families and the removal of children from the jurisdiction. He has acted on divorce matters from initial instruction through to the grant of the Decree Absolute as well as defended divorce petitions and filing for the dismissal of service. Adam has also wrote blogs specifically focusing on Pre-Nuptial Agreements and Consent Orders with focus on the extreme cases of Vince v Wyatt and North v North and how financial claims can be made years after the end of a marriage.

In his spare time Adam is a keen sportsman, playing both football and table tennis competitively and was part of the renowned Newham Academy of Music for 10 years whilst playing the cello.
